Oceano Tree Service

Oceano is home to the Oceano Dunes State Vehicular Recreation Area which is the only state beach in California to allow vehicles to be driven on it. It’s a very popular area for off-road vehicle riding and camping.

The Oceano Dunes are where the 1923 movie, The Ten Commandments, was filmed. After filming was over, the set was buried under the sand and most of the set remains buried there today. A few set pieces have been dug up and recovered and are on display at local museums.

Oceano doesn’t have their own specific tree removal permit or tree ordinance, but as they’re within SLO County, you can use their removal permit and ordinance info which you can find below.
