It will be in the lawn getting requar watering but drought tolerant would be best. We need a tree that will not spread too many roots as I would like the tree about 20ft from the house away from our septic tank. I would like a fast growing tree to 30ft to provide shade on our deck. I would love an oak but I understand they are difficult to transplant. What would you recommend? Can you transplant a large tree and how much does it cost to install a 15-20ft tree? I'd like to get a couple of nice Arbutus marina trees (probably multi-trunk) in 24" or 36" boxes and plant them near the old stumps. My ground is rocky (near Bishop Peak) and there are certainly old roots in the area. Can you provide and plant trees like that? If so, perhaps we could meet so you could look at the site and give me an estimate. Thanks.
